Grimsby Timescapes is a curatorial and oral history project that is part of the graduate studentshare research of Sara Nixon, a student in the Public History MA Program.  Using the Rideau Timescapes App for iOS devices as a framework, Nixon has curated a downtown Grimsby version that delivers historical photographs of the town to the user in place.

Shawn Graham’s course, Hist 3812a, explores the digital representation of history, where ‘gaming’ is understood as both ‘play’ as well as ‘manipulation’.

The Digital History at Carleton Workshop has been funded by a grant from the Carleton Innovation Forum. For more information on partnerships and opportunities for projects, contact the DH@CWorks facilitator, James Opp.
